Johan Dahlqvist's work experience includes various roles in different companies. Johan started their career as a journalist and sport commentator at Sveriges Radio. Johan then worked as an au-pair for Susan Evans family before becoming a swim instructor and lifeguard at Laholms simhall. Johan also worked as an allmänreporter and sportreporter at Laholms Tidning.

Johan's professional career in sales and management began when they joined NetJobs Group AB as an Account Manager and later became a Key Account Manager and Business Unit Manager in Norway. Johan then co-founded Studiekanalen AB, a digital platform for recruiting students, and served as a Sales Manager and Business Developer.

In 2012, Johan joined Netdoktor.se as a Sales Manager and later became the Key Account Manager. Following their tenure at Netdoktor.se, they joined Bonnier Healthcare Sweden as a Key Account Manager.

Additionally, Johan founded "Konkurrenskraften i svenska entreprenörsföretag," an independent project and network focused on investigating the factors that create competitiveness in Swedish companies.

Johan Dahlqvist attended several educational institutions throughout their life. From 1999 to 2001, they studied at Berghs School of Communication, where they earned a degree in Copywriting with a focus on Marketing. In 2013, they briefly attended Företagsakademin, where they studied Organization and Leadership. Prior to that, from 1997 to 1999, they studied Ideology and Sociology for two years full-time at Halmstad University, where they obtained a Bachelor's Degree. In 1996, Johan enrolled in Komvux Halmstad to improve their grades, specifically aiming to achieve the top grade. Additionally, in 1994 and 1995, they studied German, English, and web skills at Miroi Academy. Finally, in 1993, Johan completed a Reseledarutbildning (Travel Leader Training) at White Resor.
