Daniel Martins

Daniel Martins has a diverse background in the field of site reliability engineering and operations. Daniel currently works as a Principal Site Reliability Engineer at Bonterra, where they are responsible for monitoring systems, load testing, and performance monitoring for various platforms. Prior to that, they worked at Athena Software as a Site Reliability Engineer and DevOps Engineer, where they played a key role in planning and building hosting infrastructure in AWS, migrating clients to a new environment, and developing deployment procedures and tools. Daniel also has experience as a Senior Platform Specialist at Rogers Communications, where they provided technical leadership, designed and maintained scalable applications, and troubleshooted technical issues across multiple systems. Their earlier roles at Rogers Communications included managing real-time systems, coordinating network changes, and monitoring the cellular network for alarms.

Daniel Martins attended Mohawk College from 2006 to 2009, where they studied Computer Engineering Technology/Technician. In 2018, they obtained certifications in Applied Social Network Analysis, Applied Text Mining, Applied Machine Learning, Applied Plotting, Data Representation in Python, and Introduction to Data Science from Coursera.
