Andrea D'Amico

Vice President and Managing Director of Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA) at Booking.com

As Vice President and Managing Director of Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA), Andrea D’Amico is responsible for leading operations for Booking.com across this region, including accommodation partner growth and retention, exploring business development opportunities and ensuring best-in-class service and support for both customers and partners.

In his 15 years with the company, Andrea has served in a variety of regional leadership roles for Booking.com. Most recently, he was Regional Director for Italy, the Balkans, the Middle East and Africa, a position he was first appointed to in 2008. From 2010 to 2013, he served as Regional Director in APAC, with a focus on opening new offices, hiring local staff and building relationships with accommodation partners throughout the region.

Andrea first joined the company in 2003, back then as part of the Active Hotels team in Cambridge, responsible for developing the Mediterranean region. After the acquisition by Booking Holdings (then The Priceline Group), Andrea moved to Amsterdam and later opened Booking.com’s Rome office as the Area Manager for Italy in early 2006.

Before Booking.com, Andrea worked in various capacities for Italian OTA Venere.com, including as International Sales Manager.

Andrea holds a Bachelor’s degree in Economics from La Sapienza University in Rome, and is fluent in Italian and English.
