Matthew Gerrie currently serves as the Director of Strategy, Analytics in Global Strategy & Business Development at Booking Holdings since June 2021. Prior to this role, Matthew held various positions at Booking.com, including VP Customer Insights, where responsibilities included overseeing customer data and leading key divisions in data science and customer metrics, and Snr. Director of Marketing Science & Communication, with a focus on brand advertising and media. Earlier experience encompasses roles at Colmar Brunton as an Account Manager in market research and at Victoria University of Wellington as Manager of the Innocence Project New Zealand, in addition to serving as a Research Fellow focused on human memory errors. Matthew earned a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Psychology from Victoria University of Wellington between 2002 and 2006.
