Rachel Grabner

User Experience Researcher at Booksy

Rachel Grabner, PhD has a diverse and extensive work experience. Rachel is currently working as a User Experience Researcher at Booksy since March 2022. Prior to that, they were a Faculty member at St. Petersburg College from January 2016 to July 2022, where they taught and contributed to the college. Rachel also worked as a Senior Qualitative Researcher at Statistics Solutions from October 2017 to March 2022, managing a team of researchers and assisting them in completing their doctoral dissertations.

Before that, Rachel was a Graduate Research and Teaching Associate at the University of South Florida from July 2010 to October 2017. Rachel conducted an independent research project on climate change adaptation among Haitian farmers, collecting and analyzing qualitative data.

Rachel also worked as a Faculty member at Edmonds Community College from September 2008 to June 2013, teaching courses and managing a biological anthropology lab. Rachel began their research career as a Graduate Research and Teaching Assistant at Louisiana State University from August 2006 to May 2008. In this role, they conducted an independent research project utilizing quantitative data analysis and provided assistance in assessing skeletal remains for the Forensic Anthropology and Computer Enhancement Services lab.

Rachel Grabner, PhD has a diverse education background in anthropology and environmental health. Rachel completed their Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Anthropology at the University of Idaho. Rachel then pursued a Master of Arts (M.A.) degree in Anthropology at Louisiana State University. Following this, they obtained a Master of Public Health (MPH) degree in Environmental Health at the University of South Florida. Finally, they achieved their highest level of education by earning a Ph.D. in Applied Anthropology, also from the University of South Florida.
