Daniel Eder has a strong background in logistics and operations management. Starting in 2005, they worked as a Logistics Officer and Captain in the New Zealand Army, where they held various command and instructor positions and was responsible for managing supply chain solutions for troops stationed abroad. In 2015, they joined Capita as a Regional Operations Support Manager, where they managed recruitment events and provided logistic support to Army Career Centres. In 2017, they joined Amazon as an Area Manager, leading warehouse operations and working with robotics technology to improve quality and productivity. Daniel later became an Area Manager for Prime Now, overseeing fast-paced warehouse operations for high-speed customer deliveries. In 2018, they joined Booktopia as the Distribution Centre Operations Manager, responsible for managing the operations of the distribution center. In 2021, they moved to Winc Australia as the NSW State Logistics Manager, overseeing logistics operations for the state. Daniel is currently the Head of Logistics at Booktopia.

Daniel Eder's education history begins with their Bachelor's degree in Business, Management, Marketing, and Related Support Services, which they earned from Massey University between 2004 and 2007.
