Scott Powell

Scott Powell currently serves as the Senior Vice President of Symphony at Boom Supersonic since August 2023. Prior to this role, Scott Powell had a distinguished career at Boeing from October 2001 to July 2023, where positions included B-52J CERP Propulsion IPT Leader, KC-46 USAF Tanker Propulsion & Fuels Leader, and 787-9/-10 Propulsion Engineering Leader, focusing on engine integration, propulsion systems, and overall program management. Scott Powell began the aerospace journey with Boeing Aerospace as a Propulsion Analysis Engineer for the B-2 Advanced Technology Bomber from 1985 to 1990 and held several important roles in Boeing Defense & Space. Scott Powell holds a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering with a focus on heat transfer and thermodynamics from Texas Tech University. Further education was completed at the University of Washington.
