Maximilian Vierling has a diverse work experience. Maximilian started their career as a Research Fellow at Davidson College in 2019, where they conducted research on extinction modeling and the impact of ecology on health and human values. During their time there, they presented scientific information and mentored incoming research fellows.

In 2020, Maximilian worked as a Dockhand at Freedom Boat Club, where they were responsible for cleaning, fueling, and inspecting boats, as well as providing boating instructions to club members.

Currently, Maximilian is a Project Manager at Boomerang Water, a startup where they are responsible for establishing a project management system using Notion. Their role extends beyond project management as they adapt to the needs of a growing startup.
