Maximilian Vierling

Maximilian Vierling has a diverse work experience. Maximilian started their career as a Research Fellow at Davidson College in 2019, where they conducted research on extinction modeling and the impact of ecology on health and human values. During their time there, they presented scientific information and mentored incoming research fellows.

In 2020, Maximilian worked as a Dockhand at Freedom Boat Club, where they were responsible for cleaning, fueling, and inspecting boats, as well as providing boating instructions to club members.

In 2021, Maximilian had multiple roles. Maximilian worked as a Project Intern at Boomerang Water, where they established a feasibility model for a subscription water bottle service in collaboration with Davidson College's Jay Hurt Hub for Innovation and Entrepreneurship. Maximilian assessed student and member usage of the Boomerang Water system and evaluated the environmental impact of implementing the subscription model.

Maximilian also worked as a Fly Fishing Guide at A Bar A Ranch, where they hosted fishing trips and guided wade and raft trips on rivers. This role required not only angling skills but also personal skills, good hospitality practices, and outdoor knowledge.

Currently, Maximilian is a Project Manager at Boomerang Water, a startup where they are responsible for establishing a project management system using Notion. Their role extends beyond project management as they adapt to the needs of a growing startup.
