Rodney Dockter

Rodney Dockter started their most recent position as the Director of Vision and Robotics at Boon Logic, Inc. in November 2018. Prior to that, they worked as a Senior Engineer at Danfoss Power Solutions from May 2017 to November 2018. Rodney also has experience working at the University of Minnesota, where they served as a Graduate Research Assistant from September 2012 to June 2017, focusing on surgical robotics. During their time at the university, they also worked as a Graduate Teaching Assistant from January 2013 to May 2016 and as a Research Assistant from September 2011 to September 2012. In addition, Rodney worked as a Software Programmer at Tarsier from May 2012 to January 2014, and as an Intern at Crossing Automation in the summer of 2011.

Rodney Dockter completed their education in a chronological manner. Rodney first attended St. Olaf College from 2007 to 2011, where they earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Physics & Mathematics. Following that, they pursued further education at the University of Minnesota, where they obtained a Masters degree in Mechanical Engineering from 2011 to 2013. Rodney Dockter continued their academic journey at the same institution and received their Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) degree in Mechanical Engineering from 2013 to 2017.
