Shankar Krishnan

Shankar Krishnan has over 15 years of experience in the Information Security industry. Shankar began their career in 2004 as a Senior Technical Support at Sitel India. In 2006, they moved to Triumphsys- 3i Infotech as an Implementation Consultant, where they were responsible for conducting Gap Analysis and developing SOP's, policies and procedures. In 2007, Shankar Krishnan joined SecureSynergy as a Consultant, where they were responsible for Pre sales & Post sales activities for Consulting services & Security risk management solutions. Shankar then moved to Paladion Networks in 2009, where they held various roles such as Principal Consultant & Delivery Manager- South East Asia, Engagement Manager & Sr. Security Consultant- South East Asia, Practice Manager & Sr Security Consultant - Consulting Practices, and Project Manager & Sr.PCI DSS - Consultant. In 2014, Shankar Krishnan joined Standard Chartered Bank as AVP/Head Retail & CIB -Risk Advisory. In 2017, they moved to EY as a Director- Cyber Security, Advisory. In 2019, they joined both Boost and Axiata Digital as CISO | Group Head of Information Security. In 2020, Shankar Krishnan joined Boost Connect as Head Of Information Security.

Shankar Krishnan has a Masters of Computer Application from the University of Mumbai (2004-2007) and a Bachelors of Science from Pune University (2000-2003). Shankar has also obtained a variety of certifications, including Forrester Adopting Zero Trust from Forrester in September 2022, Certified Data Privacy Solutions Engineer (CDPSE) from ISACA in April 2021, Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA) from ISACA in February 2012, ISO 27001 Lead Auditor from IRCA, and PCI DSS QSA.
