Steve Hmelar

Steve Hmelar is a seasoned IT executive with extensive experience in strategic planning and technology management across various industries. Currently serving as Senior Strategic Advisor and Vice President of Information Technology at Bora Pharmaceuticals since October 2019, Steve led the IT due diligence and integration efforts for the acquisition of the GSK Mississauga Canada facility. Prior roles include Vice President of Information Technology at Impax Laboratories, where significant improvements were made to IT performance and scalability, and Director of Information Technology at both Electroglas and Dade Behring, focusing on turnaround strategies and integration during mergers. Steve started their career at Becton Dickinson managing application systems and has a solid educational foundation with an MBA from Santa Clara University and a BS in Business from San Jose State University.
