Mary Sue Milliken is an accomplished chef and entrepreneur with extensive experience in the culinary industry. As Chef/Owner of Socalo since December 2019, Milliken has led the beachy California canteen in Santa Monica, providing seasonal SoCal Mexican cuisine with a focus on conscientiously-sourced ingredients. In addition to Socalo, Milliken has been the Chef/Owner of Border Grill since January 1985, contributing to the vibrant culinary scene. Milliken also serves as a Board Member for both The James Beard Foundation and Share Our Strength, demonstrating a commitment to the culinary community and social causes. Milliken is a graduate of Chicago's Washburne Culinary Institute.
