Patricia Rowlett, CISA, CISSP has nearly three decades of experience in the information technology field. Patricia began their career in 1994 as a Systems Analyst & IT Auditor at Hertz. In 2001, they became an IT Audit Manager at the State of Georgia, where they were responsible for planning, leading, and conducting information technology audits on government agency operations. In 2004, they joined Experis as a Technology Risk Management Professional, where they documented and tested information technology controls to comply with Sarbanes-Oxley requirements.
In 2006, they joined Southern Company as an Information Technology Project Manager and Systems Auditor. In their role as Project Manager, they were responsible for creating and managing the budget, schedule, and scope of information technology projects. As a Systems Auditor, they were responsible for the planning and execution of information technology audits, and conducted risk assessment activities in support of the annual audit planning process.
In 2010, Rowlett became Owner of PROWLE Enterprises, LLC, an information technology audit and risk assessment consulting firm. Patricia also held the role of IT Audit Advocate & Security Consultant at BorderHawk, LLC. In 2012, they joined AGL Resources as Manager IT Audit, where they were responsible for planning and execution of Information Technology and integrated audits. Patricia also developed and implemented a data analytics strategy and processes to establish the Department’s analytic function.
From 2015 to 2016, Rowlett served as Senior Manager IT Audit & Analytics at Experis. In 2016, they became the Director IT Risk & Compliance at the American Cancer Society, where they managed the information security risk, compliance, and governance programs across the enterprise. In 2019, they joined Rausch Advisory Services LLC. as Senior Consultant.
Patricia Rowlett has a BA in Management from Seton Hill University, which they obtained between 1983 and 1986. Patricia also attended West Virginia University between 1980 and 1983, studying Journalism. In October 2001, they obtained the CISA - Certified Information Systems Auditor certification from ISACA. Patricia also holds the CISSP\u00ae - Certified Information Systems Security Professional certification from ISC2.
