Rebecca Luxenberg

Rebecca Luxenberg has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. Rebecca is currently the Director of Finance at Borealis Philanthropy, a position they have held since October 2022. Prior to this, they worked as a Principal at RLuxy Consulting LLC, starting in April 2021.

Rebecca has also held positions at other organizations, including Borealis Philanthropy, where they served as the Director of Finance and Operations from November 2017 to April 2021. Rebecca was the Director of Finance and Operations at the National Council on Family Relations (NCFR) from July 2016 to February 2018.

In 2012, Rebecca joined Conservation Minnesota as the Finance Director. During their tenure, they led several key initiatives, including accounting system redesign, CRM selection, and migration to cloud software. Rebecca was responsible for budgeting, financial reporting, and decision-making, as well as overseeing human resources and other business operations.

Before their role at Conservation Minnesota, Rebecca was the Fiscal and Human Resources Manager at the Northwest Regional Re-entry Center (NWRRC) from January 2011 to September 2012. Rebecca also worked as the Fiscal Manager at Americans Overseas Domestic Violence Crisis Center from July 2009 to December 2010.

Rebecca's early work experience includes volunteering at Rock and Roll Camp for Girls and working as the Store Manager/Co-Director at In Other Words Women's Books and Resources. Rebecca also served as a Board Member and Director of Merchandise at Siren Nation.

Throughout their career, Rebecca has demonstrated their expertise in finance, operations, and management, contributing to the success of the organizations they have worked with.

Rebecca Luxenberg pursued their education in a chronological manner. Rebecca first attended Earlham College from 2002 to 2005, where they earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Women's Studies. Following this, from 2009 to 2011, they enrolled in the Institute for Nonprofit Management at Portland State University, focusing on Nonprofit Management. During the same period, they also joined the University of Portland Pamplin School of Business, where they completed their Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) degree between 2009 and 2012.
