Aki Buri

Aki Buri has a diverse range of work experience spanning multiple industries. Aki began their career in 1992 as an Officer in the Finnish Air Force during their mandatory military service. Following this, they worked at Tikkurila Oy from 1996 to 2002, holding various positions related to design, project implementation, and maintenance management. At Tekes, they worked as a Project Manager IT from 2002 to 2006, leading major projects in ERP and CRM solutions and web portal upgrades. Since 2006, Aki has been employed at Borealis, where they have held several roles including IT Business Coordinator, Business Process Specialist, International Project Leader IT&S, IT Manager, and Head of Business Solutions. Their responsibilities at Borealis have included project management, process improvement, and managing IT projects in various departments. Most recently, they serve as the Head of Business Ecosystems, Digital Solutions. Overall, Aki Buri has a strong background in IT project management and business process improvement gained through their diverse work experiences.

Aki Buri obtained a Master of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from Teknillinen korkeakoulu-Tekniska högskolan, having completed their education from 1993 to 2001.
