Irfan Saeed

Irfan Saeed is an experienced scientist with a focus on catalysts for olefin polymerization. Currently serving as a Catalyst Owner and Senior Scientist at Borealis since August 2011, Irfan also held the position of Lead Scientist in the same area. Prior experience includes a tenure as a Post-Doctoral Scientist at the Max Planck Institute for Polymer Research from April 2009 to July 2011, specializing in the synthesis and properties of amphiphilic polyphenylene dendrimers. Irfan's academic background includes a Ph.D. in Polymer Chemistry with a focus on catalysis from Kyoto University, completed in 2007, and two Master of Science degrees in Organic Chemistry from the University of the Punjab.
