Pablo Parra Carrascosa has a strong background in instrumentation and control engineering. PABLO started their career in 2005 at REVENGA INGENIEROS, S.A., working as an Ingeniero I+D for a brief period. PABLO then moved on to Tecnicas Reunidas, where they served as an Instrumentation and Control Engineer from 2005 to 2008. Following this, they joined INITEC Energía as an Instrumentation and Control Engineer, where they worked for 8 years. In 2016, they joined Yara International as a Senior Automation and Instrumentation Engineer, and their tenure lasted until 2019. Their most recent role was as an Instrumentation lead for the PDH2 project at Borealis.

Pablo Parra Carrascosa completed their education at the ESCUELA TECNICA SUPERIOR DE INGENIEROS INDUSTRIALES DE MADRID from 1996 to 2004, earning a degree in INGENIERO INDUSTRIAL with a focus on AUTOMATICA Y ELECTRONICA. In 2017, they obtained a certification as a Functional Safety Engineer from TÜV Rheinland Europe.
