Arun Shankar has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Arun began their career in 1998 as a Software Engineer at Robert Bosch India Limited, where they worked on developing business applications using various technologies. Arun then took on the role of Project Manager at the same company from 2004 to 2006. Arun joined Advanced Driver Information Technology GmbH in 2006 as a Senior Process Consultant before moving to Bosch Global Software Technologies in 2008. At Bosch, they held various positions including Senior Project Manager, Group Manager, Relationship Manager, Deputy General Manager, General Manager, and Global Key Account Director. In their recent roles, they served as the Head of Portfolio for CX, Cloud, Infrastructure, and Custom Applications and most recently as the Head of Delivery and Operations for Japan.
Arun Shankar has a diverse education history. Arun obtained a degree in Mechanical Engineering from the National Institute of Engineering between 1994 and 1998. In 2009, they attended the Indian Institute of Management Bangalore where they pursued a General Management program called EGMP. Prior to their college education, Arun studied at Kendriya Vidyalaya. Additionally, Arun has obtained various certifications including "Introduction to Artificial Intelligence" from Microsoft in 2019 and "The Leadership Grid Seminar" from Grid International, Inc. in 2016. Arun has also completed a number of online courses, including "Leading and Working in Teams," "Leading with Innovation," "Leading with Stories," "Learning Agility," "Mindfulness Practices," and "SAP ERP Essential Training" from LinkedIn, with completion year specified as 2023. Lastly, Arun has a certification in Customer Relationship Management from the Indian Institute of Management Bangalore in 2019.
