Cheng-Han Yang is an experienced professional in the field of process engineering with a strong focus on magnetic sensor development. Currently serving as the Manager of Process Engineering at Bosch Sensortec GmbH since December 2015, Cheng-Han oversees magnetic sensor process engineering and development. Prior roles include a position as a Member of Technical Staff at Maxim Integrated, where the focus was on the development and manufacturing of 3-axis magnetic sensors utilizing TMR technology, along with process integration and characterization. At Western Digital, Cheng-Han served as a Sr. Principle Process Engineer, contributing to the research and development of thin film fabrication for TMR magnetic tunnel junctions and developing materials for next-generation HDDs. Previous research experience includes work at IBM Almaden Research Center on thin film oxides for spintronic applications, as well as academic research at Stanford University and National Tsing Hua University. Cheng-Han holds a Ph.D. in Materials Science & Engineering from Stanford University and both a Master’s and Bachelor’s degree in the same field from National Tsing Hua University.
