Julian Weber

Julian Weber is an experienced Technology Manager at Bosch since August 2019, specializing in manufacturing technology for automotive braking systems and sensors. Julian holds a pivotal role as a Technical Team Lead in the Development Manufacturing Technologies CC and also acts as the Product Owner for Optical Alignment, leading a team focused on new optical technologies. Previously, at MTU Aero Engines from September 2011 to August 2019, Julian served as Project Lead and Technical Project Lead, overseeing interdisciplinary teams in automation and strategy development for Industry 4.0 initiatives, as well as managing technology projects in turbine sealing. Julian began their career as a CAD Designer, developing aero engine sealing components. Academic qualifications include an MBA & M.Eng in Business Administration and Engineering from Hochschule München University of Applied Sciences and a Bachelor's in Mechanical Engineering from Baden-Wuerttemberg Cooperative State University.
