Chathurika Rathnayake

Chathurika Rathnayake is an experienced professional in the field of analytical chemistry, currently serving as the Manager of Analytical Development at Boston Analytical since April 2019, where previous roles included Group Leader and Senior Scientist. Prior to this, Chathurika held positions as Quality Control Manager and Analytical Chemist at Obiter Research LLC from December 2016 to August 2018. Additionally, experience as a Research Assistant at the University of Iowa from May 2011 to August 2016 involved responsibilities such as separation techniques using GCMS and HPLC, along with routine maintenance of lab instruments. Chathurika also contributed as a Graduate Teaching Assistant, preparing and conducting laboratory and discussion sessions for introductory chemistry courses. Academic qualifications include a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Analytical Chemistry from the University of Iowa and a Bachelor’s Degree in Pharmacy from the University of Colombo.
