Owen Murtagh

Owen Murtagh is an experienced brand strategist currently serving as the Associate Director of Brand Strategy & Innovation at The Boston Beer Company, a position held since May 2021, after previously managing the Twisted Tea brand. Murtagh has extensive experience in brand management, having worked as a Brand Manager at Taco Bell from January 2020 to May 2021 and as a Brand Manager and Associate Brand Manager for Truly Hard Seltzer at The Boston Beer Company from February 2019 to January 2020. Prior to these roles, Murtagh spent nearly eight years at Warrior Sports in various positions, including Brand Manager and Experiential Marketing Manager. Murtagh began a career in coaching as the Junior Varsity Head Lacrosse Coach at Troy Athens High School while earning a Bachelor of Arts in Biology from Oakland University in 2011.
