Benas Matkevicius

Benas Matkevicius is an international scout for the Boston Celtics. Benas has also worked as a basketball scout and coach for the Lithuanian Basketball Federation, CSKA Moscow, and Cuxhaven BasCats GmbH.

Matkevicius began their coaching career in 2008 as an assistant coach for Cuxhaven BasCats GmbH. Benas then moved to CSKA Moscow in 2011, where they served as a basketball scout and coach until 2014. In their current role with the Boston Celtics, Matkevicius is responsible for scouting and evaluating international players.

Benas Matkevicius has a Bachelor of Arts in Speech/Communication from the University of Arkansas at Monticello. Benas also has a certificate in Sports Marketing from the Institute for Sports & Tourism.
