David Hobart

David Hobart is an accomplished Actinide Chemistry Specialist currently at Boston Government Services, LLC since February 2022, and a Guest Scientist at the Los Alamos National Laboratory - National Security Education Center since December 2020. Hobart has extensive experience in actinide chemistry, having worked at Los Alamos National Laboratory in various capacities, including as Actinide Chemist-at-Large and Team Leader for the Actinide Analytical Chemistry Group. Other notable roles include serving as a Research Professor at Florida State University and contributing to nuclear waste repository compliance at RESPEC Inc. Hobart holds a Ph.D. in Analytical Chemistry from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville, and a B.A. in Chemistry from Rollins College. Additionally, Hobart began a career in the United States Air Force, specializing in aircraft maintenance for advanced reconnaissance systems.
