John Demartino

John DeMartino is a multifaceted musician and educator with extensive experience in performance and teaching. Currently serving as a Teaching Artist and Ensemble Director at Boston Music Project since September 2022, John has also held prominent positions as Principal Bass with the Cape Cod Chamber Orchestra and Section Bass with the Cape Symphony and Boston Philharmonic Orchestra since 2019. Additionally, John has experience as a Teaching Assistant at Boston University and worked as a Crew Member at Trader Joe's. John holds a Bachelor of Music in Double Bass Performance and Musicology and a Master of Music in Double Bass Performance, both from Boston University.
