Julie Burakoff

Julie Burakoff has extensive experience in the real estate industry. Julie began their career as an Associate at Dewey & LeBoeuf LLP, where they worked on the acquisition, disposition, financing, and development of various commercial real estate properties. Julie also handled joint venture agreements, debt restructurings, and property conversions. Afterward, they joined Holland & Knight LLP as an Associate, where they continued to work on similar projects but also gained experience in residential and multiuse properties. Subsequently, they joined Kaye Scholer LLP as an Associate in the Real Estate Department, representing investment banks and institutional lenders in financing and securitization transactions. Julie also represented property owners in the acquisition, financing, and disposition of commercial properties. Julie'smost recent role was at WeWork, where they served as a Senior Counsel and later as a VP, overseeing real estate matters for the US and Canada West. Currently, they hold the position of VP, Counsel at Boston Properties.

Julie Burakoff attended Tenafly High School from 1998 to 2002, where they completed their high school education. Julie then pursued a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Psychology from Washington University in St. Louis from 2002 to 2006. After that, they attended Cardozo School of Law from 2006 to 2009, earning a Doctor of Law (JD) degree.
