Chantel James has extensive experience in program management and higher education, currently serving as the Program Manager for Improving With You at Boston University since December 2014. Responsibilities include executing exit and stay interviews, analyzing data using Qualtrics, and creating retention plans to address employee turnover. Additionally, Chantel is the Chair of the Task Force for Workplace Culture, focusing on enhancing communication and diversity within the university. Previous roles include Assistant Director of Financial Aid, overseeing a substantial student caseload, and fostering professional growth through committee involvement. As the inaugural Chair of the LGBTQIA+ Faculty/Staff Network, Chantel promotes visibility for the LGBTQIA+ community on campus. Chantel also has a background in real estate as a Leasing Consultant with The Hamilton Company since 2006, where key duties involve management of security deposits and vendor payments, alongside financial oversight as an Accounts Payable Administrator. Education includes a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Newbury College and attendance at the University of Massachusetts Amherst.
