Karen Engelbourg

Karen Engelbourg is the Senior Vice President of Development & Alumni Relations at Boston University. Prior to their current role, Karen served as the Senior Associate Vice President at Boston University from July 2013 to February 2015. Before that, they were the Assistant and Associate Dean for Development at Boston University School of Medicine from December 2009 to December 2012.

Karen began their career in development at Brandeis University where they served as the Assistant Vice President from December 2003 to March 2010. Karen then spent six years at Children's Hospital Boston as the Director of Donor Relations/Principal Gifts Officer before joining Harvard Medical School as the Director of Major Gifts in December 1995.
