Mika Kanazawa

International Student Advisor at Boston University

Mika Kanazawa is an accomplished International Student Advisor at Boston University, where tenure began in June 2014. With extensive experience in international education, Mika is a long-standing member of NAFSA: Association of International Educators since 2004. Previous roles include serving on the Board of Directors for the Boston Japanese Researchers Association from May 2010 to September 2014 and working as an International Student Advisor at the Rhode Island School of Design. Earlier positions include roles at MIT's Media Lab and International Scholars Office, as well as program coordination at Emerson College. Mika holds a Master’s degree in Intercultural Relations from Lesley University and a Bachelor’s degree in Human Services from Lyndon State College, complemented by participation in a New England/Quebec Exchange Program at McGill University.
