Sukumar Sreenivas

BOT’S Head of Strategic Growth is Sukumar Sreenivas, whose steady hand is steering the company’s expansion in its second decade of notable achievement in the VFX industry. Under Sukumar’s direction, BOT is growing, not just in staff size and skill, services, and new locations, but also in our global reputation for excellence with both vendors and clients.

Sukumar is instrumental in the implementation of efficient processes that harness BOT’s high-performing creative, technical, and production teams. In pursuit of this goal, he recruits and mentors key personnel, and guides their efforts towards the smooth operation of the complex machinery that is The BOT.

Sreenivas arrived at BOT VFX in 2016 as Head of Production, following a two-decades-long career in the industry marked by creative, technical, and production accomplishments that include Life of Pi, Prometheus, Skyfall, and the X-Men and Harry Potter franchises. While at MPC Bangalore, he spearheaded growth that made his purview the go-to internal VFX hub for the Technicolor group.

While at BOT, Sukumar has had the pleasure of overseeing the company’s contributions to many VFX-Oscar-nominated films and other award-winning shows, including (but certainly not limited to) The Irishman; 1917; Black Panther, Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2, Avengers: Infinity War, and other Marvel properties; Christopher Robin; Ready Player One; Solo: A Star Wars Story and other Star Wars properties; Deepwater Horizon; The Martian; and Mad Max: Fury Road.
