Yuko Amizaki has extensive work experience in the field of business development. Starting in 2003, Amizaki worked as a Senior Consultant at Booz Allen Hamilton until 2005. After that, they held the position of Director at REGiMMUNE from 2006 to 2008. In 2009, Amizaki pursued an MBA at MIT Sloan School of Management, graduating in 2011. During their time at MIT, they also worked as a Marketing Intern at Genencor International. Following their MBA, Amizaki joined Burrill & Company as an Analyst from 2011 to 2012. From 2012 to 2015, they worked at Renewable Energy Group as a Senior Analyst in Corporate Business Development. Subsequently, they had roles at Intrexon Corporation, serving as Associate Director of Business Development from 2015 to 2018, and Director from 2018 to 2019. In 2019, they joined Zymergen, Inc. as a Business Development Director until September 2021. Amizaki then moved on to SEEDSUPPLY in October 2021, taking on the role of Vice President of Business Development. Currently, they are the Business Development Director at Bota Biosciences, starting in January 2022.
Yuko Amizaki completed their education with a Master's degree in Ecology and Forestry from The University of Tokyo in 2002. Prior to that, they pursued their undergraduate studies at The University of Tokyo from 1996 to 2000. Later on, in 2009, Yuko enrolled in the MBA program at the MIT Sloan School of Management, which they completed in 2011.
