Dr Shivaprasad HN has a diverse work experience spanning several companies and roles. Dr Shivaprasad currently serves as the Director of Global Business Development at Botanic Healthcare. Prior to this, they were the Managing Director at Manipal Natural Private Limited. Dr Shivaprasad HN also held the position of Director - Technical at Prakruti Products Pvt Ltd and served as the Vice President of Research & Technical Affairs at Olive Lifesciences Pvt Ltd. Dr Shivaprasad has extensive experience in the pharmaceutical industry, particularly in international business, regulatory affairs, and research data management. Dr Shivaprasad HN has also worked as an Assistant Professor at PES College of Pharmacy and as a Research Executive in Analytical R&D at The Himalaya Drug Company. Dr Shivaprasad has demonstrated skills in market analysis, regulatory submission, international client coordination, and teaching.

Dr. Shivaprasad HN received their D.Pharm degree in Pharmacy from the Visweswarapura Institute of Pharmaceutical Sciences, where they studied from 1995 to 1997. Dr Shivaprasad then pursued their B.Pharm degree in Pharmacy at the Dayananda Sagar College of Pharmacy from 1997 to 2001. Following that, they completed their M.Pharm degree in Pharmacognosy at Al-Ameen College of Pharmacy from 2001 to 2003. Dr. Shivaprasad HN continued their education at Doctor Harisingh Gour Vishwavidyalaya, where they obtained their Ph.D. in Pharmaceutical Sciences from 2003 to 2007. Additionally, they are currently pursuing a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) at Karnataka State Law University, which they started in 2019 and is expected to complete in 2022.
