Oaitse M Ramasedi has extensive work experience in various leadership roles. Most recently, they served as the Chief Financial Officer at Botswana Power Corporation. Prior to that, they held the position of Chief Executive at the Non-Bank Financial Institutions Regulatory Authority for over a decade. Oaitse M also served as the Chief Executive of the National Development Bank and held the role of Group Finance Manager/Company Secretary at Botswana Insurance Holdings Ltd. In addition, they worked as the Bursar at Botswana College of Agriculture and as the Chief Internal Auditor at Botswana Railways.

Oaitse M Ramasedi obtained a B Com degree in Accounting from the University of Botswana in 1985. Prior to this, they completed their Cambridge Overseas Schools Certificate at Gaborone Secondary School from 1976 to 1980. In 1998, they received an FCMA degree in Management Accounting from The Chartered Institute of Management Accountants. Ramasedi then pursued an MA in Theology & Religious Studies at the University of Botswana from 2001 to 2004. Oaitse M also holds an FIISA degree in Short Term Insurance from the Insurance Institute of South Africa, which they achieved in 2017. Additionally, Ramasedi completed a non-degree SLP in Advanced Programme in Risk Management at the University of South Africa/Universiteit van Suid-Afrika in 2016. Finally, they studied Banking Studies at the Botswana Institute of Bankers, although the start and end years are not provided. Ramasedi became an FCA at the Botswana Institute of Chartered Accountants in 2016, although the start year is not mentioned.
