João Bettencourt

Head of Brand & Customer Experience at Boundless Life

João Bettencourt has had a varied career in marketing and communications. João began their career in 2003 as part of the Corporate Communications Department at Altice Portugal. In 2004, they took on the role of Project Manager at CTT - Correios de Portugal. From 2008 to 2013, they worked as a Project Manager at Brandia Central, where they managed projects from a strategic, creative and production implementing standpoint, with a focus on international projects. João then became a Consultant at Marketing and Brand Consultancy from 2013 to 2015. From 2015 to 2017, they were the Marketing Director at SEASIDE, and simultaneously held the role of Marketing Communication and Sponsorship Director at Lemon Live Entertainment. In 2017, they became the Marketing Director at Designmark Group, where they created concept strategies for foreign markets in the fields of Architecture, Design and New Technologies. In 2019, they were the Country Experience Director at Selina, where they created unique and memorable concepts while defining product commercial strategies. Finally, in 2022, they took on the role of Head of Brand & Customer Experience at Boundless Life, where they are responsible for designing a lifestyle enabling balance, growth, and deeper connections with ourselves, our families, nature, and the world.

João Bettencourt attended the Universidade Católica Portuguesa from 1997 to 2001, where they studied Business Administration and Management, General. João then attended the Instituto Superior de Comunicação Empresarial from 2001 to 2005, where they obtained a Licentiate degree in Gestão de Marketing.
