Maayan Gal

Maayan Gal has a diverse work experience in various roles and institutions. Maayan started their career as a psychometry instructor at Kidum from January 2001 to January 2003. Maayan then pursued their PhD at the Weizmann Institute of Science from September 2004 to August 2009. Following that, they worked as a post-doc researcher at Harvard Medical School from September 2009 to September 2012.

In 2012, they joined MIGAL Galilee Research Institute as a Principal Scientist and Principal Investigator, where they worked until October 2019.

Since December 2019, they have been serving as a Co-Founder and Scientific Advisor at ProJini AgChem. In August 2021, they co-founded another company called Bountica, where they also hold the role of a Scientific Advisor.

Maayan Gal holds a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in Chemistry from the Weizmann Institute of Science. Prior to that, they completed their Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Biology-Physics at Bar-Ilan University, from the years 2000 to 2003.
