Shmulik Ittah

Shmulik Ittah has had a diverse range of work experiences in the field of biotechnology. Shmulik currently serves as a University Lecturer at The Hebrew University of Jerusalem, where they teach a course on spider silk and its applications in biotechnology. Shmulik is also a Biotechnology Consultant at Daren Labs & Scientific Consultants Ltd. Additionally, Shmulik is involved in various start-up companies, including being a Co-founder and Scientific Advisor at Seevix Material Sciences, a Co-founder, Director, and CTO at Augmanity Nano, and the Co-founder, Director, and CEO of Pepticom. Shmulik has also worked as a Postdoc at Novartis & Hebrew University. Furthermore, Shmulik has served as a Technology Consultant at Redefine Meat.

Shmulik Ittah holds a Ph.D. in Biology from The Hebrew University of Jerusalem, which they obtained between 1998 and 2009.
