Jessica Maw

Jessica Maw is a qualified Physician Associate with extensive experience in various healthcare settings. Currently employed by the NHS in Emergency Medicine and Acute Frailty Medicine since December 2023, Jessica also serves as a part-time Dementia Care Specialist for Bournemouth Borough Council and has a background in post-stroke care and rehabilitation. Prior experience includes rotations in secondary care medicine and specialties such as general practice, psychiatry, and paediatrics during a medical placement with the NHS. Previous roles encompass healthcare positions in both public and private sectors, where Jessica has supported individuals with disabilities, assessed medical conditions for private health insurance eligibility, and provided care to elderly residents with dementia and other health issues. Jessica holds a BSc in Physiological Science from the University of Bristol and an MSc in Physician Associate Programme from the University of Portsmouth.
