Mohit Makkar

Mohit Makkar began their work experience in 2003 as a Consultant (Software Developer) at Electrobug, where they worked on Excel VBA Automation for Quality Audit and developed desktop-based applications using VB and SQL Server. In 2004, they joined Innodata Isogen as a Software Engineer, working on Microsoft Technology projects and developing utilities for the department. In 2005, Mohit joined NCR Corporation as a Data Engineering Manager, where they held the role until 2022. Currently, they are working as a Practice Head - Data & AI at Bourntec Solutions Inc.

Mohit Makkar has a Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.) degree in Mechanical from Maharshi Dayanand University, which they obtained from 1995 to 1999. Prior to that, they completed their 10+2 education in Non Medical (Physics/Chemistry/Maths) from S.D. College, Panipat, from 1993 to 1995.

In addition to their formal education, Mohit has acquired several certifications. Mohit obtained the SnowPro Core Certification from Snowflake in May 2023 and the Snowflake Technical Sales Professional Accreditation from the same institution in February 2023. Mohit also completed the Academy Accreditation - Databricks Lakehouse Fundamentals course from Databricks in January 2023. Furthermore, Mohit holds the SAFe Agilist Certification Certification from Scaled Agile, Inc., which they obtained in July 2018, and the Certified ScrumMaster certification from SCRUM ALLIANCE, which they earned in August 2014.
