Marleen Bosma-Verhaegh

Marleen Bosma-Verhaegh has a diverse and extensive work experience. Marleen is currently serving as the Chief Client Officer (CCO) at Bouwinvest, where they are responsible for investor services and the growth of the entrusted capital. Marleen is also a member of the Executive Board of Directors. Prior to this, Marleen held the position of Director Strategic Business Development at Bouwinvest, where they managed global real estate investments for institutional investors. Marleen has been associated with Bouwinvest since 2016 and has contributed significantly to their growth.

In addition to their role at Bouwinvest, Marleen has worked as a speaker, panelist, and lecturer at various conferences, sharing their expertise in the real estate industry. Marleen has been invited to conferences organized by MSCI, INREV, AFIRE, UvA, Gartner Data Summit, IREI, and Alternative Investment Summit.

Marleen has also gained experience in the education sector, working as an education support officer at Basisschool De Oase in 2022.

Marleen has actively contributed to the industry through their involvement in various organizations. Marleen served as a member of the accountability body of Pension fund PPF APG and chaired the Innovation, Data & IT committee at IVBN. Marleen has also been a part of the Board of Directors at AIFRE and served on the Corporate Governance Committee at INREV.

Before joining Bouwinvest, Marleen held the position of Senior Fund Manager Global Real Estate at Blue Sky Group, where they were responsible for strategic advice, portfolio management, selection and monitoring of external managers and investment funds, and strategic projects related to the real estate portfolio.

Marleen started their career as a portfolio manager/account manager at Syntrus Achmea Vastgoed, gaining valuable experience in the industry.

Marleen has consistently demonstrated their expertise, leadership, and dedication in the real estate and investment sectors, making significant contributions to the growth and success of the organizations they have been associated with.

Marleen Bosma-Verhaegh has a diverse education history. In 1997, they attended Eindhoven University of Technology, where they pursued a degree in Real Estate Management, graduating in 2001 with the degree of "ir." After that, they enrolled at the University of Amsterdam from 2002 to 2004 to pursue a Master of Science in Real Estate and Investments.

Later on, from 2006 to 2008, Marleen Bosma-Verhaegh attended Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam (VU Amsterdam), specializing in Financial and Investment Analysis, earning a degree called RBA.

Then, in 2018, they embarked on a new educational journey, enrolling at Nijenrode Business University. Marleen completed the New Board Program (25), focusing on Executive Corporate Governance, and finished the program in 2021.
