Helen Rees

Helen Rees joined Bow Valley College in the summer of 2019 ending a long career in the legal profession; most recently as a barrister & solicitor in Alberta. Helen is passionate about learning and uses her wealth of experience to give students real-life examples of the theories contained in course material — making it easy and enjoyable to learn.

Helen instructs in both the Business Administration Diploma course and the Legal Assistant course. Helen has recently been involved in developing course content for the Legal Assistant course, enabling students to learn the most up-to-date practices and helping them to be 'office ready' for their planned career. Helen's continued contacts within the legal profession provide the College with valuable input and resources for course content. Helen enjoys making legal practice and understanding the law relatable and fun.
