Laura Hay

Based in Queretaro, Mexico, Laura Hay is the Regional Manager for Bow Valley College in Mexico and Latin America.

Born and raised in Calgary, Alberta, Canada, Laura is able to provide special insight for Latin American students looking to study in Calgary. Laura has a Bachelor of Education degree from the University of Calgary and first represented the University of Calgary as an international student recruiter prior to moving to Mexico.

Laura has lived in Queretaro for the past ten years working as an educator in Mexican high schools and universities, and as a student recruiter for the past eight years with Bow Valley College. Her combined experience and knowledge of both Canadian and Latin American cultures helps her to effectively bridge understanding between the school and prospective learners.

Laura attends education expos throughout the region, sharing details about what makes Bow Valley College an excellent option for students’ future plans. She works directly with learners and alongside Bow Valley College’s agent network in Latin America to assist with the application process and to provide assistance during each students’ journey to Canada.
