Terri Huck

Associate Dean, School Of Global Access, Language Training at BOW VALLEY COLLEGE

Terri Huck is the Associate Dean of Language Training in the School of Global Access. Her career in English Language Learning began in 1996, when she travelled to South Korea to teach English. Upon returning to Canada, Terri worked at Global Village English Centres in a variety of roles including instructor, lead instructor and director of studies.

Terri came to Bow Valley College in 2006 where she continued working in a leadership role as a program coordinator in the School of Global Access. In this role, she has worked with initiative programs, literacy and part-time programs, and most recently with academic and English for Academic Purposes programs. Terri helps oversee a federally funded program called Language Instruction for Newcomers to Canada.

Terri holds a Bachelor of Education and a Bachelor of Science in Physical Education from the University of Saskatchewan. She also has a Certificate of English Language Teaching to Adults from Global Village Calgary.
