Dr. Prashanth Parameswaran

Dr. Prashanth Parameswaran has a diverse work experience in the field of international relations and global security. Dr. Prashanth is currently serving as the Deputy Head of Research at BowerGroupAsia, a position they have held since January 2022. Prior to this role, they worked as the Director of Research at the same company from May 2020 to January 2022.

Before joining BowerGroupAsia, Dr. Parameswaran was a Fellow at The Wilson Center starting from April 2018. Dr. Prashanth also served as an Instructor at the Foreign Service Institute from July 2019 onwards.

Dr. Parameswaran gained research experience as a Researcher at the Center for Strategic and International Studies (CSIS) in May 2012. Dr. Prashanth also worked as a Research Assistant at the Project 2049 Institute from August 2009 to August 2010.

Dr. Prashanth Parameswaran completed their Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Foreign Affairs and Peace and Conflict Studies from the University of Virginia, from 2005 to 2009. Following that, they pursued a Master of Arts (MA) degree in International Relations at The Fletcher School at Tufts University, from 2010 to 2012. Dr. Prashanth furthered their education and obtained a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in International Relations from The Fletcher School at Tufts University, completing it from 2012 to 2019.
