Else Meijerink

Else Meijerink has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. Else began their career in 2015 as a Private Tutor at Bijlesnetwerk, where they primarily taught mathematics, physics, chemistry, English, geography, and Dutch ASL to high school students. In 2018, they transitioned to working as a Nanny for a private household until early 2019.

In 2019, Else joined Headland Archaeology (UK) Ltd as a Site Assistant, where they were involved in excavating human remains and grave furnishings at the burial ground in St. James' Gardens. Else also conducted post-excavation processing of human remains.

Later in 2019, they took on a role as a Localization Tester at Testronic, specializing in localization testing. Else worked on projects for a duration of two years.

Most recently, Else joined BOXT as a Junior Full Stack Engineer in November 2021, and they were subsequently promoted to Full Stack Engineer in November 2022. As a Full Stack Engineer, they are responsible for developing and maintaining software applications across the entire technology stack.

Following that, from 2017 to 2018, Else enrolled at UCL to earn a Master of Science degree in Bioarchaeology and Forensic Anthropology.

In 2021, Else attended Makers, a school where they completed a Full Stack Developer Bootcamp.

In addition to their formal education, Else also obtained certifications in AED gebruik (Automated External Defibrillator use) and Verbandleer en kleine ongevallen (Bandaging and First Aid) from Het Nederlandse Rode Kruis (The Dutch Red Cross).
