Doug Lenz

Doug Lenz is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in engineering and technology. Currently serving as a Volunteer with the Boy Scouts of America since September 1997, Doug has held various leadership roles, including Den Leader and Webelos Leader, and has received multiple awards such as the Venturing Leader of the Year (2009-2010) and the District Award of Merit (2012). As Chief Scientist and Senior Process Technology Engineer at SABIC from March 2012 to January 2023, Doug led programs focused on new process and product development, particularly in polymers and process optimization. Doug founded FALCONEER Technologies LLC, where innovative Artificial Intelligence-based software was developed for global clients, and previously consulted through DHLenz & Assoc, serving a range of notable clients. Doug's earlier career included significant roles at FMC and Dow Corning, where Doug led advanced process control teams and contributed to research and development initiatives, respectively. Doug holds a PhD in Engineering, Chemistry, and Catalysis from the University of Massachusetts Amherst, along with a BS in Engineering from the University of New Hampshire.
