Matt Hellens

Matt Hellens is an experienced information technology professional currently serving as the Director Of Information Technology at The Highlands at Harbor Springs since April 2022. Prior roles include Information Technology Supervisor and Senior Network and Systems Administrator at the Health Department of Northwest Michigan from May 2018 to April 2022, as well as Director Of Information Technology at Emmet County, Michigan from November 2014 to April 2018, and Cheboygan County from June 2006 to November 2014. Earlier in his career, Matt held the position of Network Engineer at Empiric Solutions, Inc. and Web Developer at The Image Group/Digital Commerce. Matt is pursuing a Master's degree in Information Technology Management from the University of Wisconsin Colleges, expected to complete in May 2025, and holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from Lake Superior State University, obtained in 1998.
