Jordan Roehl, M.Ed has a diverse work experience that spans across various organizations and roles. Starting from 2012, they served as a Science Teacher at ASU Preparatory Academy and later took on roles as a Social Studies Teacher and Grade level lead at YES Prep Public Schools. They also had extensive athletic coaching experience during this time, serving as Head Volleyball Coach, Track and Field Head Coach, and Head Basketball Coach.
In 2014, Jordan became a Fellow at Moonshot edVentures, and in 2017, they joined KIPP Colorado Schools as a SAL - Site Administration Leader and DEI site coordinator. They held these positions until 2021.
From 2021 to 2022, Jordan served as the School Director at Compass Academy: Where Learners and Leaders Grow. They then worked as a Senior Operations Associate at Moonshot edVentures from 2022 to 2023.
Most recently, Jordan Roehl has taken on the role of Director of Club Operations at Boys & Girls Clubs of Metro Denver starting in 2023. They also have ongoing athletic coaching experience as an MS and Varsity Assistant track and field coach and as a JV Head Coach/ Varsity Assistant for St. Mary's high school volleyball program.
Jordan Roehl, M.Ed has an extensive education history. Jordan obtained a Master of Education (M.Ed) degree from Arizona State University between the years 2012 and 2014. Prior to that, Jordan earned a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree from Amherst College from 2008 to 2012. During this time, Jordan studied African-American/Black Studies, ECON, and LAW.
Furthermore, Jordan Roehl has acquired additional certifications. In March 2023, they received a Teacher, Primary and Secondary Certification from the Texas Education Agency. In May 2023, Jordan obtained another Teacher, Primary and Secondary Certification, this time from the Colorado Department of Education. Additionally, they have a CPR/AED/First Aid certification obtained from the American Red Cross in August 2022.
