Program Coordinator Teen Media Tech Center- FBR Branch At The Arc at Boys & Girls Clubs of America

Amberly Alene Ellis has a diverse work experience. Amberly started as an Assistant to the Director of Publicity and Student Affairs at the University of Maryland in 2008, where they worked until 2011. In 2012, they became a Program Coordinator at Sasha Bruce Youthwork and held that position until 2013. Amberly then joined the Guanin Center as an Outreach Coordinator and was responsible for US outreach, social media, and digital video promotions. In 2014, they worked as a Graduate Research Assistant at American University and also held the role of Peer Educator at the Latin American Youth Center. In the same year, they joined the Institute of Caribbean Studies as a Communication Programming Associate. In 2015, they worked at the Boys & Girls Clubs of America as a Program Coordinator at the Teen Media Tech Center, and also became a Director/Producer at Film For The People Productions.

Amberly Alene Ellis obtained their Master of Fine Arts (MFA) degree in Film and Media Studies from American University, spanning from 2012 to 2015. Prior to that, they pursued their Bachelor's degree in Communication and Media Studies at the University of Maryland from 2008 to 2011.
