Brent Seelmeyer

Brent Seelmeyer has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Brent started their career in 1998 as a District Executive at Boy Scouts of America. Brent then moved on to Phi Kappa Tau Foundation, where they served as the Director of Alumni Relations from 2001 to 2003. Following this, they joined Miami University as the Director of Development from 2003 to 2006. Brent then assumed the role of Executive Director at Cancer Family Care from 2006 to 2012. Afterward, they became the President & CEO at Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Cincinnati, where they worked from 2012 to 2017. Currently, they are working at Boys & Girls Clubs of America as the Director of Organizational Development - Metro Services since 2018.

Brent Seelmeyer has a diverse education history. Brent earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science and Psychology from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville, which they attended from 1994 to 1997. Prior to that, from 1989 to 1993, they received their secondary education at McCallie School.

Later, Brent pursued a Master's degree in Human Resource Development from Xavier University. Brent attended Xavier University from 2002 to 2004.

In addition to their formal education, Brent Seelmeyer obtained various certifications to enhance their professional skills. Notably, they earned a Certificate in Diversity Equity and Inclusion from the American Management Association in February 2023. Brent also obtained a Certified Nonprofit Board Consultant certification from BoardSource in September 2022.

Moreover, Brent Seelmeyer attained a Certified Prosci® Change Management Practitioner certification from Prosci in May 2022. Furthermore, they acquired a Certified Sherpa® Executive Coach certification from The University of Georgia in December 2021.

Additionally, Brent Seelmeyer obtained certifications in various areas, such as a Certificate in Strategic Visioning & Planning from The Grove Consultants International in January 2021, a Certificate in Organizational Development from DePaul University in January 2020, and a Certificate in Executive Leadership from Harvard Business School in June 2016.
