Melody Yoo

Melody Yoo has a diverse work experience that spans multiple roles and organizations. Melody currently holds the position of Director of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion at Boys & Girls Clubs of America. Prior to this, they worked as a Facilitator at Inclusivity, LLC. Melody has also served as an Educator at City Schools of Decatur, where they worked from 2019 to 2023. Before that, they held an Educator position at Wesley International Academy from 2018 to 2019. Their earliest documented work experience was as an Educator at Gwinnett County Public Schools from 2015 to 2018, where they primarily focused on instructing and supporting English language learners, gifted, high achieving, and compensatory students. Melody also actively contributed to various educational and multicultural initiatives during their time with Gwinnett County Public Schools.

Melody Yoo completed their Bachelor's degree in Education from The University of Georgia from 2011 to 2015. Prior to that, they attended Roswell High School from 2007 to 2011.
